Staffordshire County Council will make a substantial contribution towards Staffordshire residents taking up Pass Plus - they call the scheme Pass Plus EXTRA because in order to gain the subsidy, you need to attend a one-off two hour interactive workshop before taking to the roads with one of their registered instructors. The Council's contribution towards making the roads in Staffordshire safer, is to provide local drivers with a subsidy of up to 70% off the course cost. This means that by applying through the County Council you will only pay £60.
